Sophia Shen
Sophia, a junior at Interlake High School, has been drawn to STEM from an early age. She has a passion in competitive math and qualified to prestigious competitions like the Math Prize for Girls. She also began coding in 6th grade and is now Platinum division for USACO. Beyond her love for STEM, Sophia enjoys playing with her cat, Candy, and hanging out with her friends. As President of Candy Can, she looks forward to creating new opportunities that inspire others to explore technology, innovation, and creative problem-solving!

Chloe Kim
Chloe is a junior at Seoul Foreign School in South Korea. She is passionate about STEM, particularly math, biology, and computer science. She has participated in a variety of competitions, including the Stanford Math Tournament, the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust challenges, and the USA Computing Olympiad. Outside of academics, Chloe enjoys playing golf, reading, and playing the cello. As the President of International Operations, she is excited to share her love for STEM with the global community and connect with bright minds from around the world.

Allison Yip
Allison is a sophomore at Chinese International School located in Hong Kong. She has always been interested in STEM, ranging from competing in Hong Kong Math Olympiads from a young age and her recent interest in Physics. Allison also loves sports such as soccer and badminton, and especially basketball which she has played since 1st grade. Allison also loves travelling with her family and friends!

Gnoel Leong
Gnoel Leong is a sophomore at Newport High School in Washington, United States. She has a passion for biotechnology as well as social work. From a young age, Gnoel has shown interest in several fields of science, such as computer science and physics. In her free time, Gnoel enjoys making art, listening to music, and volunteering. She is excited to help inspire and empower people around the world through STEM.

Hi! I’m Halimatu Mohammed, a Data Science major at Accra Technical University located in Accra, Ghana. I’m interested in mathematics and technology within STEM, and I’m passionate about advocating for women in STEM. Outside of STEM, I enjoy reading novels, watching soccer, and baking.

Ania Tatur
Ania is a junior with a huge passion for dance. She started when she was 8 and continues to dance today. She also loves cooking and discovering new techniques, but recently she has been especially excited about exploring the world of coding and STEM. Just beginning her journey in tech, she is eager to keep learning and growing. As a social worker and proud Polish national, Ania is passionate about combining creativity, technology, and community to make a difference.

Fiona Liu
Fiona is a sophomore at Saratoga High School in California. From a young age, Fiona has been passionate about STEM, participating in math and robotics competitions throughout middle school. She is a three-time AIME qualifier and has participated in competitions including the Berkeley Math Tournament, Stanford Math Tournament, and Math Prize for Girls. Outside of math, Fiona enjoys debate and marching band, where she plays the clarinet. She’s excited to share her love of math with others and give back to her community!

Esraa Elsharkawy
Esraa, a junior at James E. Taylor High School, is very innovative and curious. These characteristics fueled her love for STEM and innovation. Esraa is a proud member of the National Speech and Debate Association and as a lifelong Girl Scout, Esraa is dedicated to making a tangible difference in the contemporary world. Through Girl Scouts, she founded Food Waste 101, an educational campaign that aims to address the frequently neglected, global issue of food waste. In her free time, Esraa pursues her culinary and artistic hobbies. She also loves to play archery and basketball! As the Chapter Lead for Texas, she utilizes her years of prior experience in coding and STEM as a centripetal force.

Xiaolin, a junior at Lincoln High School, has been studying programming for three years. She started learning programming in seventh grade and continues to learn different programming languages now. Bermet is a high school student from Kyrgyzstan who studies at an all-girls boarding school. Besides leading Kyrgyzstan outreach, she enjoys doing makeup, studying math, and listening to NSB.
